What This Cartridge Does
The MC² cartridge uses Micro-Pure® II filtration media to treat your incoming water supply. Here's what it handles:
- Reduces chlorine taste and odor and other contaminants that affect beverage taste
- Filters particles as small as 0.2 microns through mechanical means
- Inhibits bacteria growth on the filter media
- Reduces cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia (NSF/ANSI Standard 53 certified)
- Reduces asbestos (NSF/ANSI Standard 53 certified)
- Protects drink system seals, pump, tubing, and small orifices from clogging, corrosion, and abrasive wear
